I have some friends who have these great inkjet printers, but they never want to print anything on them, because they're so conscious of the cost of printer ink. But it's not always necessary to buy the name-brand ink cartridges. Many companies offer discount third-party ink cartridges, identical ink accessories that work with your inkjet printer.
Now you might be worried about the warranty on your inkjet printer if you use a non-approved third party ink cartridge, but really these things all use the same ink, and all that is happening is that you're taking some money out of the pockets of the printer makers, and putting it into the hands of smaller entrepreneurs. And when you really think about it, the money you can save is almost equal to the price of the printer. Inkjet printers are becoming so inexpensive that there are people who will buy a new injet printer every time their device runs out of ink. |

The geeky website Geek Of The Day has a funny Photoshop joke suggesting that the Mona Lisa painting would be a little bit different if Leonardo Da Vinci Had Used Photoshop.
I'm no art critic, but I don't think it's really fair to compare the original masterpiece to a Photoshopped version. |
